This study aims to describe teacher strategies for addressing reading difficulties in second-grade students at MI Al-Mujahidin Tempos and to identify factors influencing these difficulties. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects consisted of second-grade students experiencing reading difficulties and their classroom teachers. The results showed that the reading difficulties experienced by students included: inability to recognize letters, difficulty spelling, errors in pronunciation, poor memory, and lack of focus during learning. Factors contributing to students' reading difficulties include internal factors such as physiological conditions, intelligence, and learning interests. External factors include lack of parental guidance, the community environment, and teacher teaching methods.
