Disipln is a trait that must be possessed by all humans, especially students. Student discipline is one of the important components that must be owned by students, in realizing discipline cannot be separated from the role of a teacher. In this study using a qualitative approach with a case study approach, this research is phenomenological in nature, namely investigating a social phenomenon or human problem. . that qualitative research is a method used to examine the condition of natural objects, where researchers are the key instrument of data collection techniques carried out by Trianggulation. The nature of data analysis and qualitative research results emphasizes meaning rather than generalization. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique in this study is by the process of searching and compiling systematically. The results of this study suggest that MA teacher Nurussa'adatain NW Gonjong feels obliged to instill and cultivate disciplinary character in school students. There are two things that teachers do to instill learning discipline, namely being orderly or disciplined at a set time and showing attitudes and disciplinary actions that are seen through faithfulness to follow lessons until class time, not truant, orderly and not noisy in class and so on. MA teacher Nurussa'adatain NW Gonjong carries out several special roles in improving student learning discipline such as teaching and educating students to obey the rules both verbally and non-verbally through discipline life examples, being a model in terms of discipline, guiding and motivating to see the importance of learning discipline in order to achieve success in learning.
