This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a deep learning-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning model in enhancing the critical thinking skills of 11th-grade students at MA Islahul Anam Dasan Makmur. The background of this study is based on the still low critical thinking skills of students in PAI learning, which tends to be oriented towards memorization and conventional learning. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving 11th-grade students as research subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through critical thinking skills tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis used statistical tests to determine differences in students' critical thinking abilities before and after implementing the deep learning-based PAI learning model. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the deep learning-based PAI learning model significantly improves students' critical thinking skills, which is as indicated by the increase in critical thinking test scores and student participation in the learning process.
